INTRODUCTION

The secret to becoming successful has never been one thing because we all know that if it had been the case, all of us would have become the one. But the reality is that there is no secret of success. Everyone exercises in different ways on their path to achieve their goals. In one case, the secret to becoming a successful person or a billionaire is starting the day at 5 am. When you start your day early in morning you will be energetic, you will take the fresh air which is very important for our body. Your day will be long you will have enough time to do your works.

The author narrates the story of a fictional artist, an entrepreneur, and a business tycoon to describe the benefits of waking up early in the morning. Those who become successful aren’t just born with talent and are spoon-fed to become so. To become great, you have to sacrifice things and put in hard work. You would be shocked at how much you can change yourself by waking up just an hour early in the morning.

The book talks about three things that if you repeat daily for an hour, you will see changes within yourself- physical exercise, reflection, and learning (The 20/20/20 formula). You can start your day by joining a gym session, a short run, or exercise. Moreover, by mediating you and finally by reading a book, newspaper, or any other journal.

We see that every unsuccessful person has some excuse for their failure, and for that reason, they fail to achieve their dreams. Excuses are just like a distraction; the truth is that success doesn’t come to you by itself. Instead, you have to find ways to get it if you want to make your way to success. It would be best if you started regularly working daily. After building a firm base, you will gradually reach the success line. Taking the example of Sara from the book, she was a painter and had this typical thought that if she managed to visit the studio daily, she would improve. Sara found this helpful but not motivational. However, she started to practice daily following exercise, reflection, and learning, and as time passed, her skills improved.

Nobody is perfect in this world. Self-improvement never ends. If you push yourself beyond your limits, that point is where you will start to improve things. For that, you have to get out of your comfort zone first. For example, in the story of renowned choreographers Anges De Mille and Martha Graham, De Mille was successful and famous for her work in Oklahoma. However, still, she was not satisfied and contended with her work. She addressed this thing to her friend Graham and asked for support. In response, Graham reminded her that a real artist is always hungry for excellent work and is never satisfied with her work. That’s the beauty of a real artist. The frustration and need for more push people beyond limits to achieve more. Anyone with the inspiration and motivation to achieve their dreams can do the same.

Rather than only waking up early in the morning, we should also introduce “zero screen time” after 8 pm. By limiting screen time, we will be able to get more sleep and can quickly wake up early in the morning.

People use their potential to capitalize on their abilities. This doesn’t mean that they’re the maximum gifted human beings, however instead that they make the maximum of what they have. So, rather than evaluating your skills to someone else and assuming you don’t have what they are capable of, capitalize on your competencies and use them to make a difference! The 2nd essential thing to focus on is the expertise to avoid distractions. This is essential because it’s, in all likelihood, the primary hassle that holds human beings back. And whether or not your distractions come from anywhere that drains you of your energy, neither of those distractions can stay in your lifestyle in case you need to be a winner. So, to domesticate a prevailing worldview, you must remain conscious, simplify things, and concentrate on what you are doing to achieve your dream.

Owning the first hours of your morning is essential to unlocking your ability for every day. So, in case you need to reinforce your creativity and optimize your productivity, make an addiction to getting up at 5 am every day and the usage of that first hour to observe the 20/20/20 formula so that you can kick off your day and learn to become more creative and skillful.
